Pocket Pantry

Pocket Pantry is comfort food as a game. You run a little cafe, cook dishes by matching simple gestures, and decorate the place however you like. There's no energy meter forcing you to wait, which honestly made me play it more, not less. The touch input is forgiving, and everything is designed for one hand while you're half-watching TV. Battery drain is tiny and the phone never gets warm, so it's a perfect background game. The art style is soft and cute without being cloying. If you want a challenge, look elsewhere. If you want something to unwind with, this does the job better than most.
